The following conditions apply to all quotations, orders, and supply of goods from The Source Print Management. Please read carefully.
Quotation
Quotations are valid for 30 days.
Accuracy of specifications
Quotations are based on the accuracy of specifications provided and are subject to sighting final designs and artwork.
Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, the price quoted is for a single shipment to the customer's premises. We nominate a courier on the customer's behalf, and title and responsibility for the finished work passes to the customer upon delivery to the freight company.
An option is available at the quoting stage for the customer to request their own courier.
Standard delivery is 7-10 working days (2-3 weeks on larger volumes) from receipt of suitable art file.
If an order is required inside the standard delivery period, an express turnaround facility is available.
All quoted delivery dates are subject to art file suitability, subsequent art and order approval, and stock availability.
Note: due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to guarantee any delivery dates, agreed or otherwise.
Production schedules
Production schedules will be established at point of order. In the event of delays due to causes beyond the control of The Source Print Management, delivery dates and/or additional costs will be re-negotiated, and no liability or penalty will be incurred by The Source Print Management for these delays.
Unders and overs
Although all care is taken, completed runs may contain a small percentage of unacceptable product. It is normal practice for The Source Print Management to supply over-runs at no additional cost to cover the unlikely event of any defective product being supplied that may have been overlooked at final inspection.
Under-runs may also occur and will not exceed 10% of the quantity ordered. The Source Print Management reserves the right not to re-print or replace product in this instance, and will invoice the customer at a pro-rata rate. If the customer requires a guaranteed quantity, this tolerance must be taken into consideration at the time of ordering.
Electronic images
It is the customer's responsibility to maintain a copy of the original file. The Source Print Management is not responsible for storage or accidental damage to media supplied by the customer. Files are to be supplied according to our specifications, and any additional translating, editing, or programming will be charged at prevailing rates.
Proofing
The Source Print Management will submit electronic proofs for the customer's review and approval. The Source Print Management will not be responsible for undetected errors, and any re-prints will be supplied at the original cost.
Product performance
Information and supplier specifications are available on product performance, but no guarantees are given on the performance of materials and inks supplied.
Colour matching
Due to variables involved in the printing processes, inaccuracies caused by inconsistent viewing conditions, colour perception, and many other variables, matching PMS colours, supplied samples, or full colour proofs is not guaranteed, and a reasonable variation between these and the completed job is to be expected. When a variation of this kind occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.
Claims
Any claims on defective products or quality will not be recognised after 30 days from receipt of goods.
Disclaimer of implied warranties
The Source Print Management warrants only that the work will conform to the descriptions contained in the original order and subsequent documented communication. The Source Print Management's maximum liability, whether by negligence, contract, or otherwise, will not exceed the return of the amount invoiced for the work in dispute. Under no circumstances will The Source Print Management be liable for specific, individual, or consequential damages.
